Begin by disconnecting the negative battery terminal to prevent any electrical shorts. Use a plastic trim tool to carefully pry off the dashboard bezel surrounding the factory radio and climate controls. Set the bezel aside. Remove the four 7mm bolts securing the factory radio and slide it out. Unplug the antenna cable and the main wiring harness. Connect your new wiring interface adapter to the factory harness, then connect the adapter to your touchscreen head unit's wiring harness. Match wire colors (yellow to yellow for constant power, red to red for switched power, black to black for ground, etc.) and crimp or solder the connections securely.
